BREAKING: SDP and LP Ogoja Chapter Collapse structure for ADC House of Assembly candidate, Agam Agam Jr.

The 2023 state election comes up on the 11th of March, 2023 across the nation. The Social Democratic Party (SDP) Candidate of the House of Assembly, Ogoja, Mr. Stephen Abontek (aka The Governor) in a closed door meeting with ADC Candidate, Agam Agam Jr. has promised to work for ADC in the forth coming election due to some personal reasons. He is withdrawing from the race and has decided to work for Agam Agam Jr because he said he has seen the qualities of a good and servant leader in him as well as Ogoja will be safe with Agam Jr. instead of the other 2 candidates from PDP and APC.
Also in a consultative meeting of Agam Agam Jr with the Labour Party, Ogoja Chapter, the LP has drum their support behind the ADC candidate owing to the fact that, they don't have a candidate running for that office. The LP chairman, in his speech admonish all his leaders to work for ADC Candidate because they have the same ideology with the LP. 
It will be recalled that, some few days to the presidential election, ADC collapsed structure for Peter Obi and this is like a payback for the support of ADC During presidential election.

There are three major contenders of the State House of Assembly Ogoja State Constituency,
Agam Agam Jr of ADC
Rita Ayim of PDP and
Thomas Aruku of APC
11th March 2023, Ogoja will decide her legislator to represent them at the State House of Assembly.

Cross River North Women protest against Ayade-sponsored arrests in Ogoja

Women from Cross River Northern Senatorial District have stormed the streets of Ogoja in protest against the politically-motivated arrests of their children sponsored by governor Ben Ayade. Speaking to newsmen, the leader of the group, Madam Grace Abang, said women from Cross River north are protesting on the insistence that governor Ayade desists from further arrests of their sons and release unconditionally those already in detention by the quasi-undemocratic conspiracy of the APC-led government in the State. “We have done everything for Ayade and he has failed us; only for him to come and arrest our children. Ayade must either release our sons or arrest all of us,” the women leader cried. The objecting ladies maintained that the request for the release of their children and restraint on further unlawful arrests, adding that their position was from an apolitical standpoint.
